1. Entertainment:
Okay so you chose to have a DJ/MC and some lighting. But what are your activities? Bouquet toss, garter toss, cutting the cake? Lets do something different for your guests! A photo booth in Santa Barbara is just the thing that will keep the crowd having fun and the key to having all your guests stay longer. Once those traditional activities are over they are bored, waiting for food and waiting for you to do the first dance. Give them something to do in the mean time! All the wedding we have done it has been such a success and we keep going up until the bride leaves.

2. Awesome Favors:
Favors are important and such a hard thing to decide. It is a nice gesture to your guests, saying thank you for coming and being apart of your special day. Favors can be expensive quickly, especially if they are 2-4 dollars a piece. A photo strip is a unique favor that will have your new last name and your wedding date at the bottom and of course their faces! They will not throw this away! They want to take this home and will most likely put in their fridge next to the report cards.
3. Memories Captured:
Think about it, this is a place where your guests can have fun and get loose! These pictures will be your memories for years to come! Its like a photographer in a box.
4. You don’t have to wait:
We offer a scrapbook for brides that is finished by the end of the night and it has all your guests extra prints of funny moments and special words written to you. All the brides that chose this option was thrilled, here are pictures from your wedding night in your arms before your honeymoon. What photographer can do that? Brides love this, and so will you!
The invitation was firefly inspired and certainly told guests what fun was to come at this unique place!
To kick off the festivities, an opening night party was held. The couple shared their story with us. “We had a BBQ Friday evening as folks came into town and it was great to start the weekend off with good food, music and lots of laughter. At the BBQ on Friday evening, guests filled out Mad Libs that night about the couple that were displayed at the reception on Saturday evening.”
Then, on the wedding day the flowers were all local and seasonal, fitting of the natural environment. In hues of lavenders and purples the colors popped with that elegance she wanted and that rustic feeling he knew so well.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!

We made beautiful handmade photo booth props for Abby and Brendan’s Wedding at the Santa Barbara’s Fess Parker on Saturday, March 30, 2013. There was such a good response to the first set of photobooth props that we made! Abby and Brendan were so great to work with, they gave us 8 photos to work with and we made some fun props to put in the photo booth so that their guest could enjoy some nonstop memories. You’ve got an instant party with these photo booth props! We worked with Danae Grace Events who did a spectacular job getting to room ready and making sure the whole night ran smoothly! Who can resist using the infamous bow and arrow that cupid uses to spread the love? Once you shoot someone, they have to love you back!
Buy a few Valentine’s Day-themed posters, which can make a great backdrop for your photo. There are lots of choices, from simple and elegant to colorful and bold.
Garland made of pink and red hearts makes a simple yet elegant background.
Large candy hearts make a great prop idea and are highly associated with Valentine’s Day.
A personalized kissing booth spreads the love and is sure to be the hit of the party!
The Other Side of Romance
Occasionally, there are people who tend to host a Valentine’s Day party with a goal of celebrating the opposite of what Valentine’s Day is known for – love and romance. In these cases, a focus is placed on how much ‘Love Sucks, or Bites’, and accordingly props and ‘Love Stinks’ banners that relate to the downsides of romance are used. It’s all in fun though, with darker colors being utilized to emote the overall feeling of either having no romantic partner or recently breaking up with one.

Rivana celebrated her sweet 16 birthday last Saturday at the Carbrillo Arts Center. This party was just like MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 is a MTV reality series documenting the lives of teenagers, usually in the United States, Canada and UK, who usually have wealthy parents who throw huge coming of age celebrations. Parties include the quinceañera (a sweet 15), the sweet 16, and other birthdays including a My Super Sweet 21 (which was broadcast during MTV’s Spring Break party) and My Super Swag 18. The show premiered on January 18, 2005. The opening theme is “Sweet Sixteen” sung by Hilary Duff.
ThoughtBox Photo Booth had a constant line at Rivana’s Sweet Sixteen. With the sweet smell from the Chocolate fountain across the way and the DJ with amazing tunes, the Photo booth strips were flowing from the photo booth! Rivana’s theme was Vegas, there were tons of fun masks that were used in the photo booth as props and there were tons of playing cards and dice on all of the tables. This photo booth was a hit for this sweet sixteen party.
Photo booth for the holidays in Santa Barbara
Why is it that people are able to let loose at weddings in Santa Barbara and have so much fun in those wedding photo booths, but then when it’s time to have their picture taken elsewhere, they inevitably revert to the posey baloney? (Excuse my French.) Why not bring the photo booth fun to your holiday party in Santa Barbara or in Ventura? Bring in some props- Santa hats, chalkboard signs, or even grab a present from under the tree or bring in an outdoor light-up reindeer decoration. The playtime really starts when you challenge people to come up with something different for each shot, with at least four pictures taken quickly, one right after the other, just like in a photo booth. About a second or two in between is plenty; too much thinking time takes the fun out of it. People get sillier as you allow them to get warmed up. Funny faces, ironic faces, serious faces – anything goes. Have fun this holiday season with ThoughtBox photo booth in Santa Barbara or in Ventura. Holiday parties are no fun with out a photo booth and some fun props!
Be sure to check out the Paper & Cake Printable Photobooth Props featured in the fun kids’ photo above! What a brilliant idea and fun idea for a photo booth
